Ecology and sustainability are taken very seriously

Even small steps may help save the environment. Here’s what we are currently contributing:

• Reduction of roughly 80 % of residual wastes due to strict waste separation
• Reduction of CO2 emissions via intelligent regulation of room temperature
• All shows, sinks, toilets, and taps are equipped with water-saving devices that limit the maximum flow rate
• Long lasting cooperation with local growers and producers of salads, vegetables, fruits, meat products etc.

In July 2012 we renovated our entire kitchen equipment enabling us to now work with computer-controlled devices featuring heat recovery among other technologies.

On our roof you will find a modern 20.5 kWp photovoltaic system providing roughly the annual average energy demand of 4 households.

Since 2018 we have 100 % eco-power made from waterpower!
